A lovely shot of this beautiful shell, Matthew.

The shell looks great with excellent details while the combination of different mosses and lichens in the bg are superlative :D :D :D

Just a perfection Mathhew. Excellent composition, different textures, shades of green in the image and contrast between the shell and background. It's obvious that the shell doesn't belong there and still it makes a perfect photo. A masterly crafted image!

Beautiful photo of this lovely shell Matthew. I love it. If you didn't tell me this was taken in a forest I would swear that it was taken in the ocean

What a lovely image Matthew! Gorgeous with the pristine colours of the shell against the lush dark greens - and as for that mouth wide open ..... either you just woke it up and its yawning! - or its getting ready for the carol singing next month!

Have a good weekend! :D

hi Matthew,

very interesting surrounds that also set off the white shell extremely well...I'd prefer to crop off a little at the top.
Regards,
Darren

The mosses and lichens combine beautifully with the snail(?) shell - love the details.

Very unexpected coupling and quite lovely at that, Matthew. The light upon the shell shows off its details so well. The hard shell surrounded by all that lush soft mossiness is such a pleasing contrast. A fine image indeed.
